Was running fine. Shut off for a few minutes. Will crank over fine but not fire. Pulled fuel filter, it was dirty. Cleaned with kerosine and installed. No change. Should the filter bowl refill with fuel when installed? It did not. Small possibility water in fuel due to 5 inches rain. Ran for several hours fine. Tried starting with air filter removed, no change. 250 hours on tractor.

Welcome!

Okay, you have crank, but no start. Fuel is the first suspect. Have you verified that the lift pump is putting out fuel? I would pull the fuel line after the pump and just check to see if it's pumping any.

If it's not, check for voltage to the pump.

I'm assuming the lift pump is different than the injector pump. Where is the lift pump located?
I just checked and after four hours the sediment bowl containing the fuel filter is 1/2 full

Your lift pump is mechanical and after the filter (green).
So that's not the issue of the filter filling.
If your not getting fuel to fill the filter then you have a delivery issue.

Pull the input line (yellow) and you should have free flow.
If you do not blow a little air into the line and see if that clears it to flow.
If it doesn't flow after air, then you have something in the tank that is not letting fuel out.
If you have good flow in then reconnect that line and pull the output (blue) and see how flow is there.
If your not getting flow then there is a problem with the canister, pull it and clean it, pay special attention to the input.
if you are getting flow then you could have an issue with the lift pump not delivering fuel to the pump.
I'll save that troubleshooting till we hear back from you.

Cleaning filter with kerosene and NOT putting in a new filter is Not a great idea. You need a new filter if it’s dirty, they aren’t that expensive.

Thanks for your help. It's still dark here in Montana so it will be a while before I can proceed. Thanks again for your help.

Disconnected the fuel line going into the fuel filter and no fuel comes out. I went to my local Kubota dealer and got a new fuel filter. Got a proper air nossle to blow out fuel line. It's raining here right now so I'm going to work on it tomorrow morning when rain has stopped.
