Hi

purchase this morning. Battery was inverted guess what motor was turning opposite side.Didn’t know it coulb be possible but yes it was. Seller complains transmission problems. It is working ok on low idle bit high hidle it doesn’t go anywhere. Notice lots of foam and bubble in oil. I suspect it doesn’t have the righ oil and might have hose strainer clog. I know you guy’s are very knowledgeable
Thanks for your help
"battery was inverted"???

Even with the battery reversed the motor can not be started and run in the reverse rotation, it's impossible.
1: The Bendix will not engage on the starter
2: The firing pattern of the engine would have it injecting fuel at the wrong direction of the stroke.

As far as all the other issues go, there could be mutiple reasons for those issues.
