I'm about to purchase a new 5' adjustable disk for food plotting. I want sealed bearings and scalloped blades. The dealer has an 18" and a 20" in stock. The 20" is like $100 more.

Is the extra $100 worth it for the 20's?

If it's your primary tillage implement, and your tractor can pull it, IMHO, yep...:D

We pull a 20 blade with 18" blades which is 6'10" wide with no problems. L3700SU and L3800 both with R4 tires. A 5' will barely cover your tracks. Just my 2 cents.
