I'm dumbfuzzled . I was mowing hay running at 2200 rpm and my tractor just shut off. It was not a fuel or air shut off it was like someone turned the key off or the computer shut it down. Will restart just like normal no sputtering but after 20 seconds it shuts off again unless you turn the key to preheat then it will run for another 20 seconds and try to turn off again. Oil level is perfect and was changed 9 hrs ago,it has fuel, the temp is fine ,has antifreeze, has hydralic oil , isnt losing a ground from engine to frame im at a loss

I don't know your electrical circuit, but it sounds like a safety switch issue affecting the OPC control. Do you have a wiring diagram? Carefully watch your LCD display if it has one, for any indicators flashing or lit up etc. Check your seat switch for functionality.

If it has an oil level shutdown feature generally they will be disabled for a short time so it doesn't shut down when going over large bumps etc. Check the connections on the oil level switch if it has one. On other machines, sometimes the sensor float breaks off the end of the sensor and causes a similar problem, not sure if this is an issue for Kubota. You can also try bypassing the oil level sensor (if it has one)and see if that fixes the problem.
Oil pressure is another one that may have a timer bypass when the engine starts, so it gives the engine 20 seconds or so for oil to be up to pressure before shutdown. Again, unsure if this is a feature of your machine.

Forgot to mention, if this is a computerized tractor, you may be able to read some codes and see what comes up such as crank angle sensors, or other etc, check your manual for trouble shooting.

M9000 is not computer controlled. It's an older (90's) tractor. I forget how they shut the engine off...I want to say external solenoid mounted on back of the injection pump. Could be an issue with the OPC system, switch, controller, or could be loose fuse, or could be main switch or the solenoid itself.

Sounds like the stop solenoid is failing.
It's on the top of the governor assembly on that model.

I had mine do the opposite, it wouldn't turn off with the key. The plug on the top back side of the injector pump is where the fuel shut off is located. I unplugged it and found a small amount of carbon in the plug. Cleaned it and it's been fine for years. I would start here first.

Like Lugbolt said check the fuses. It has one labeled ignition which will kill the tractor.
