I am thinking about buying or constructing a stable towing hitch for my B1600. The problem, is didn't find anything yet. I do not want a drawbar hitch, I want something that can be mounted on the tractor and connects to it in a solid way.

Has anybody such a hitch or a idea how i can realise it? Pictures would be really nice, so that I get an idea of it.

Here is a scan from my manual (B5100/6100/7100) of the stock hitch. It bolts on the underside of the differential with 3 bolts. I wish I could give you a better pic, but my B7100 with this hitch is 150 miles from here at my place up north.

That is the same system like this one, isn't it?

I had a look at my B1600 and I found the three mounting points for the bolts. But what are the two holes on the side for? Are they for the axis of the 3 point hitch?

The side holes are for the bar that the 3pt hitch arms mount on. I think that the one pictured would have to be mounted upside down from the way it is pictured, otherwise the slide in hitch would interfere with the differential..... or maybe it could be shortened.

I have seen another Kubota (B6100 I think) that just had a single 3/8" thk plate mounted the same way, with a large (2"?) hole with a large clevis for hooking up chains, etc..

I dont know it the draw bar is like a BX but I cut down an old auto tow hitch that uses a1 inch hitch we cut off both side and welded it to a piece of 5/16 plate and bolted it in place ,,took the 4 botls out of the hitch and boltes this in,, and i can use either a ball hitch or take the ball off and use it as a drop pin hitch
