Hello, and greetings from Scandinavia :)

I just acquired a Kubota B7001 i assume...
The decal on the side says B7001. It is a 4x4 with 3 different speed PTO. Dont know if it is using a live PTO..

The serial on the Tractor is: B7001-19218
I have attached some photos of Tractor and metal sign.

My question for you Kubota experts are.

1: Is this a grey marked kubota or a early North American B7100?
2: What size tyres\rims do i need to replace my old rice field tyres?
3: Is there anything special I need to think about before using implements? (slip clutch\pin,, etc
4: Any service\parts that I need to pay special attention to?

5: The Kubota has hydraulics in the front, is this standard on the B7001?

Sincerly thank you for your help.

MR Anderson.

That is not a North American B7100, so I assume it as the decal says: a B7001.

That said, there is very little difference between the early models.

I believe your front hydraulics are aftermarket, or at least, a dealer option. Maybe it used to have a front end loader?

Thank you.
So what you are saying, is that an early 1970s model has most of the same parts?
No I dont think it had a front end loader, but the previous owner used a snowplow with hydraulics. maybe its possible to install a FEL and a ROPS?

The only real difference between the b7001 and the B7100 is the labels and the PTO internals, and the Transmission internals, the rest is the same.

Because the difference in the transmission they ran a slightly different tire size on the b7001.
Fronts are 5.00-12 rear 8-16

The add on hydraulics probably was for his snowplow.

Thank you for the information about the tires.
Is it possible to get regular AG tires for it? R1 or R4? the ones on the tracor are probably 30-35 years old.. hoping that the rims will fit.

Is it possible to run anthing else on such a small Tractor on front hydraulics?

Anybody know what equipement is available for them, and ROPS that fit?

Sincerly Mr Anderson.

Amazed by the knowledge you guys have on these old tractors.

Those are ag tires on it now, aren't they? They look pretty aggressive. If they are in poor shape, look for replacements of the same size.

Rear 3ph attachments are not tractor specific. Anything sized Category 1 three point hitch will physically mate to the tractor. Mind you, the tractor only has so much power available, so realistically you have to stick to smaller implements, 4' to 5' in width and 400lbs or less in weight.

Front mounted accessories are generally model-specific, requiring custom sub-frames and such. Given the age of these machines, finding an official Kubota accessory such as a FEL or plow made to fit your tractor is highly unlikely. If you want a FEL, you will have to build your own or modify something from a different model. (There are several threads on this board about building your own, including my own attempt).
