I'm taking the old drive shaft and u joints out to replace with new parts. I already have the part out but I'm wondering can I simply assemble the shaft and u joints together and just stick the whole piece back in all at once or is there more to putting it back on once it's assembled?

You should be able to replace the universal joints on the bench, and then reinstall the assembly in the same manner as you removed it, as a single unit.

I have the drive shaft all assembled but it's too long to fit. If you look at the diagram attachment you'll see piece 110 and the part that it slides onto that isn't labeled. The part has 3 screws that attach it to the bottom pulley on a set of 3 that turns the fan on the engine. I'm guessing I need to remove this piece first, insert the front yoke onto it, slide on the rear yoke and then screw the piece back on the front. Is this the correct way? It's the only thing I can think to do at this point.

It shouldn't be any longer than when you took it out.

Yeah, I believe that is correct.

The splined companion flange with the 3 screws should be inserted in the yoke (110), the assembly slid into the shaft at the opposite end (100), then align the companion flange and insert the 3 screws.
