I have a Kubota L3000DT (4WD) and I'm trying to drop the oil pan so the lower part of the engine can be inspected for damage due to antifreeze found in the engine oil due from a blown head gasket and cylinder head problems. However, the front driveshaft needs to be removed or lowered so the pan can be removed. I have already slid the front axle cover to the rear of the tractor and removed the roll pin and disconnected the drive axle from the front differential. Not sure what I need to do next as I can't move the rear axle cover forward as the WSM states to remove the rear roll pin so the axle shaft can be disconnected from the middle/rear where it connects to the transmission. Please help....

Thanks Pat! No, I didn't see that roll pin in the WSM figure. Does that hold the Pilot Shaft cover (rear) on?

Pat, you were correct. The O-Ring made it a bit more challenging but finally got it off. Thanks for all your help.
