I was doing the 200 hr service on my B2650 and after cleaning it up thought I would tackle the job of the exhaust blowing on the loader arm and the back of the bucket. I went to the local auto parts that have a pipe bender and had a piece of 1 1/2 pipe bent at 45 degrees and 18 in long. I brought it home and cut and angled it so the exhaust blows out between the loader arm and the front tire. The ID of the 1 1/2 pipe fits perfect over the existing pipe. I just put a screw in the bottom for now till I make sure it works good. So far the little I have run it seems good. We will see when we get out all day running.

rkidd Would you be so kind to measure the length of your exhaust extension before the 45 degree bend and after the bend? Also do you still use just a screw to secure the pipes together? Thanks I love your mods

i bought a 14" curved pipe and clamp off eBay, it was for a riding mower. i cut a bit off each end for good angle and clearance. no more black soot, on the loader or hydraulic hoses..

I went out and measured the pipe, and from the center of the 45 on the inlet side is 5" long with about 2" of that going over the existing pipe. On the outlet side from center of the 45 is 4.5" long. I just gave it an angle cut on the outlet side to give it the right look. And yes sheet metal screw I put in the bottom out of site to give it a clean look has been rock solid in keeping it secured. I have over 250 hrs since the install and has been a great mod. No more soot on the bucket!! The piece of pipe was like $4.00.
