Howard Rotavator E Series II Selectatilth.
Everyday is a another small victory that brings me closer to completion! New C shape tines and I think am ready to go after some considerable welding and straighten out of this and that. ..Small leak in chain case probably a seal at bearing. A paint job next with safety orange and some original decals ordered from England and I should be read for spring

David,
I just procured an HR10 Rotavator. When I finish two more acres I'll be looking to repaint it and add the decals. Can I ask where you got yours?

Hell of a machine!! kind of makes these new ones into toys. We had an old Howard we used for breaking acres and acres of prairie, one pass and good to go, Getting into some buffalo hollows or undulating ground would make the 4020 John Deere snort and and pay attention, this was a six foot machine. They are built like tanks and pretty well bullet proof and VERY worth restoring. It will last your life time and probably your children's as well!! Have Fun!!
