I found that these two Rustoluem colors come VERY close to matching factory colors at a more friendly price and without a trip to the dealer. Maybe not what you want to use to repaint your hood, but in my opinion good enough for touch up work and for tractor accessories. At the very least you could use these as a base coat, and then fog the items with a top coat of OEM paint. I am getting these at the local Menards for about $4.50 per can. My experience with OEM spray paint over the last 25 years (Bolens, Grasshopper, Kubota) is that it is over priced and sits around the dealership too long, often causing it to spray poorly or fail to spray at all part way through the can. ( I once had to pitch 2/3rds of a $12.00 can of Bolens paint because it died on me.) I never totally got the Bolens green duplicated, but I have the Grasshopper cream and brown pretty well nailed too.

Thanks for the heads up. Tractor supply has some Orange, I think its Allis Chalmers Orange, that matches the old Kubota orange nicely. I think yours might match the new Kubota Orange...I have had similar experience with the old cans vs fresh stuff.

I had to sand and weld/repair the front rims on my B2150. I'm not a stickler for "original", but didn't want it to look like a calico either. I had some Chevy orange engine paint on the shelf. Turns out to match pretty well, and is pretty tough too. Best part is, you can get it most anywhere. No TSC or much of anything out here, so works for me.

Folks come by when I'm working on my L305 and they never make a comment about how the paint is the wrong color! They usually don't think it's the tractor I started with.

It is Kubota blue, but not Kubota orange!

Rustoleum Has a product at Walmart That matches the new orange. Lobster Red matches the paint, not kind of like the chevy engine paint. I bought one can to try -and have bought another four because it is that good.

At TSC, I looked at the Chevy Orange some time back, but went with the old Kubota color.

I will definitely go with the Chevy color next time!
