Leafy England....
quick question guys regarding the hydraulic connection block on a B8200 (non-hst)

what is the purpose of the "N" (neutral) port .
in previous projects the n port has not been on the tractors to hook upto, but the 8200 manual states using all three ports , and my new hyd valve also has the 3 ports.
From my understanding the my new spool valve is open centre so fluid will flow around when the spool in unused, why the n port then.
if i want to add a pair of q/r ports for my log splitter separate from my new spool which works my top link & trailer i assume i will just carry the flow from the "T" port on my new valve to a diverter valve , with a pair of lines to the splitter and line then to tank.
Sorry if this sounds a bit basic but i have done this before but cant remember which way round i did it.

pic of the 8200 valve block.

If my understanding is correct:
The N (neutral) is similar in principle to the PB (power beyond) port.
You can hook into A and N with an open center valve and still have power to the 3 point without having to divert the flow to only the remote valve.

I haven't had to hook one up, I've just used a tractor that had that valve on it.

this is what i did onmy B7100 before adding in the lines for the top link, but spools for the log splitter are working.
dont recal the N port on the my aux spool valve though.
pressure went throught the aux spool onto a diverter, i moved the diverter to permit pressue to the splitter q/r connectors, when not in use the diverter was moved back and fluid goes to tank as normal.
i think this is correct, but old age makes the memory fade abit now.

Leafy England....
thanks for the help and replies so far guys.
I managed to speak with a very helpfull guy at Kubota Uk, and he clarified what connections i should be using, pretty well what we have discussed so far guys, "n" has to be connected to both valves, pressure as we know and the return also as we have discussed.
So i can use my original setup that i used on my B7100 which worked well.

seems that kubota in there wisdom did in fact omit a port ready to use for a trailer on the b8200:confused::(
anyway , thanks for the help guys.

thanks big K, i think the early non hst such as mine have 3 but the newer versions have a modified valve as the guy from kubota did suggest the same to me, not having seen a newer version i cant be 100% on this .

thanks for the reply.
