I need to get out the shaft that goes uhder the seat that is splined so that i can get the arm welded.
Does this shaft just knock out and are there any pitfalls involved.
I figure getting the arm welded without the shaft is asking for trouble
The arm in question holds the vertical arm that holds the linkage arms that go onto implements.Any help appreciated

You will need to pull the top of the 3 point linkage off and then pull the rock shaft (#120 first picture) off of the hydraulic arm (#210 second picture).

Is that arm a cast piece? Before you go through the trouble of pulling everything apart and getting it welded (right), why not find out what a used one costs? Check with West Kentucky Tractor Parts (wkytpstore.com), or maybe you have a tractor boneyard in Australia.
