Default 3 pt top arm hole position

I have an L3800 HST with a Land Pride brush mower. There are three positions on the tractor for the rear portion of the top arm on the 3 pt.

With the brush mower, is there any advantage/disadvantage to which position (hole) you use for the rear of the top arm?

The lower you go, the higher the tail end of the implement will lift.
