    Ouch, I was hoping to avoid the press idea, It does have a zirc (sp ? ) fitting and it has been maintained, even recently, the end of the cylinder does move freely on the pin but the pin wont budge, If I could just confirm that it is a press ( or bent ) fit then I could confidently hit it a bit...

    I need to know how to remove the pin that holds the cylinder in the main boom of a BH65 back hoe. I have removed the bolt but the pin wont seem to move. the cylinder is not under tension and the boom is supported. I am afraid to tap it any harder. Scott
