Ended up with about 18-21" on Tuesday. The L2550 and JD got a work out.

Sorry no picture, but it's the same place you check level. It's located on top of tranny next to gear shift. Has a dipstick with level indicator on it. Takes SAE 80 gear oil, 2.38 gallons per manual.

The 2 wheeler says tractor not to exceed 25HP with 540 RPM PTO, while the single is for 25-45 HP tractors.

Nice. I will have to check it out to see what shipping would be across the pond. The exhaust pipe broke off mine a couple years ago. It still runs fine but will be selling so I would like to get the little issues fixed if not to expensive.

The oil fill cap on mine says SAE 30. OM gives the temp. rages for different weights to use. Above 77 deg. F(25 deg. C) - SAE 30 Between 32 deg. F -13 deg. F (0 deg. C - 25 deg. C) - SAE 20 {The 13 maybe typo} Below 32 deg. F (0 deg. C) - 10W, 10W-30 See attached. Not sure why yours says SAE 20.

That is your oil fill. It is oil pump system for the engine. Just to right of it oil level dipstick. If you don't have service and/or parts manuasl, I suggest getting one. They are a valuable item.

I just got the L2550 about a month ago. It has the BF400G loader on it. I'm waiting on the OM for the loader, but was wondering a little about the loader. I doubt it will ever come off the tractor, but there are stands on the loader for holding it when it is removed. Just curious if anyone has...
