BX23s throttle snapped... might have an improvement idea

I've had a BX-23S for about one year. When I bought it (50 hours) the throttle lever was extremely stiff. One of the first things I did was to loosen the nuts under the dash until the Lever turned more easily. Haven't had a problem since. Before I went to the effort of adding a bushing, I would...

    Stopper (inching up/down)

OK, I took another look at the Stopper. The Lever itself stays about 1 1/2 inches from the Stopper, BUT there is a pin that sticks out from the iever that is only about 1/4 inch from the Stopper. I think that the Lever has been bent so that the pin just misses the Stopper. Could have happened...

    Stopper (inching up/down)

They are adjustable width-wise (front to back-they are actually bolted together) but the problem is they are too far to the right of the Lever to ever make contact. I will take another look just to be sure.

    Stopper (inching up/down)

Can't be. The Lever doesn't get closer than an inch or two from the Stopper- unless it was installed wrong at the factory. And looking at the parts diagram, it's installed correctly.

    BX25D/BX23S Swivel Seat problems

That is how it is supposed to look. The entire support/swivel mechanism is attached to the mounting brackets by two 1/4 inch pins about 1 1/2 inches long. You line the pins up with the holes in the bracket on the left side, then slide everything to the right. A clip holds it in place ( I believe...

    BX25D/BX23S Swivel Seat problems

You are correct about removing the whole mechanism. However, I highly recommend removing the seat first, then if necessary you can remove the support mechanism. The reason being that entire assembly weighs a ton! If you accidently drop it or let one side slip, you could easily puncture the fuel...

    Stopper (inching up/down)

Does anyone know the purpose of the Stopper (inching up) and Stopper (inching down)? As far as I can tell, they don't engage with anything else. They're in the Lever guide-RH illustrated parts list, # K2871-55250 and K2871-55260. This is on a BX23S.

I wasn't offended at all. I'm curious how long it would take an experienced owner to replace that switch. Maybe I'm taking some unnecessary steps.

Help! Complete novice with fuel system problem.

It is part # K2871-62250, the one activated by the HST pedal (there are 3 of them on the tractor in different places). I believe it is called the neutral switch.

    BX25D/BX23S Swivel Seat problems

Assuming I understand your problem correctly, check to see if the 4 white plastic spacers on the swivel plate have fallen out. Two of mine did, and that allowed the swivel plate to sit lower on one side, causing the latch not to engage. The part I'm referring to is #K2591-56670 seat spacer. Hope...

Help! Complete novice with fuel system problem.

Big shout out to Russell King! He correctly diagnosed my problem first time, probably saving me hundreds of dollars. The new switch cost $35, so I'm very happy. Advice much appreciated. If anyone else is having a similar problem, be aware that you have to do extensive disassembly to actually...

Help! Complete novice with fuel system problem.

Thank you! I noticed that switch this morning when I crawled underneath. I don't think it's the Operator Presence switch, but the Neutral switch sounds spot on. I will try to replace on Wednesday. I'll post the results when I'm finished, in case someone else runs into the same problem.

Help! Complete novice with fuel system problem.

I have a 2022 BX23S that has 225 hours on it, 175 by me. It has worked perfectly until a few weeks ago, when it suddenly started cutting out momentarily. The first dozen times or so I was working on a steep slope and thought maybe the fuel intake was sucking air. It always started again...
