@MOlivin, I ran into the same problem yesterday on my L6060. I did get a wrench on the flats to turn the bolts but it took a lot of effort and they didn't move out of position. Banging on them with a hammer did nothing. Was going to try a puller next. Did you find any suitable bolts and lock...
