Oilburner, Thank you for the write up. Do you possibly have the links to the supplies you bought off of Amazon? I would like to go ahead and buy them to have so that I don’t have to wait on them or try to figure it out when mine breaks again I would really appreciate it! steve

Oilburner, I appreciate the info on the plug. I would also really appreciate you sharing your idea for a skid plate with me when you get it done. I would weld on something on but it's a new tractor and I don't want to ruin the good paint under there with a weld and make it rust.

I know this is an older thread but I joined this forum because of this same issue I had with my 4802. Has anyone successfully made some sort of protective part to shield this delicate piece of plastic? I’m thinking building my own bracket or pan to fit around it is a necessity at this point...
