Is it possible a relief valve is stuck open, is there more than one?

So when the actuator opens, it closes the open circuit back to the tank and creates direct pressure from the pump to the cylinder, until the relief valve opens? (in simple terms)

Just out of curiosity, does the return to the transmission have a restrictor to create pressure or how does it hold pressure in the system, I'm trying to get head around it's workings.

    I'll get a gauge ordered

If this is the correct position, still no pressure

I've painted where roll pins should be & the pointer

Sorry, I've been away working. I've checked the valve base & there is evidence of 2 pins. I have set the pointer on the stops & it's made no difference, no hydraulics, the 3pt link does not have much power either, but it does lift. I've also checked the filter which is ok.

Hi Dan I owe you an apology about schematic for the hydraulics, see amended sketch. Also another pic of the outlet block , the bolt with the roll pin in just rotates, is it meant to be threaded, what should it do?

The circled area is the a return flow into the top of the transmission case, I think you were referring to it as the tank. What is the outlet block you refer to? is it the block I arrowed or is it the block on the remote lever?

Yes I've stood on the arms

The direction valve rotates, but doesn't have stop, just rotates I've redrawn the hydraulic flow circuit

    No load on the arms

Hi Dan, The valve under the seat is apparently used to slow down the lowering of the hydraulics, that's what I understand it's for. Although the 3pt link works, the FEL still doesn't, so if possible I'd like to get things back to the point before I connected the tipper trailer, I'm not...

    B8200 no hydraulics

Hi Dan I've attached a pic of the hydraulics system. The knob on the selector valve position is where it's always been prior to this issue. I have turned the valve under the seat fully anti c/w & now the 3pt link rises & lowers although a bit jerky, still no lift on the FEL. I check flow by...

Thanks for the advice. I took the hose off and powered up the tractor, but no flow out of the hose & checked the lever was in neutral position, so ordered a seal kit for the hydraulic pump, fitted that today The 3pt linkage has lifted, but won't lower, FEL, lifted a bit, but nothing really, so...

    B8200 no hydraulics

Hi Everyone, Newbie here from the UK, I'm hoping for a bit of advice regarding a loss of hydraulic pressure. I have an FEL attachment and on the rear 2 couplings for a rear attachment, but not used until today. I've got myself a tipper trailer with a single action ram, I hooked it up today for...
