I have been taking it out after each use and it goes back in very easy ,not so easy coming out, but it does come out okay now. I am sure over time it will disengage easier.

I just called the dealer and they came when I wasn't available and the mechanic was able to get it out, not sure what he did different than what I was doing but maybe putting allot more pressure on the handle. If it was going to break I wanted them to do it not me. I just went out and tried it...

There is resistance no play at all

I hope it is something simple to fix. It does look quite uncomplicated looking at the diagram. They came out and looked at it and it seems it will be going to the shop. For some reason that gear just doesn't want to disengage. Thanks for the diagram

Mine to get out of 4wd you push down and I don't want to break something. The dealer is coming out to look at it first of next week. If he can't get it out they will take it to the shop. I do have a good dealer

Mine is a hydro

I went out and tried that no luck. I went through low, med, high, neutral still wouldn't come out.

I have tried everything I know to do. I am not new to tractors. Went forward backwards, turned wheels, lift front end off ground. New kubota 6000----- I guess the next thing will be to lift rear end off ground

I am 82 and been on tractors all my life, This is my 5th kubota as well as others and all had loaded rears and never a problem with those. None of the others had R14 tires, they were ag or R4. I am sure things will work out and thanks again for the help.

Thanks Matt, I will do just that as I lowered the front pressure as it didn't help, as is obvious now the problem is the rears. I first thought the lug nuts were not tight as it felt like it was coming from the rear tires. Thanks for the tip about the cushion thing as it all makes sense now...

Thanks, as I have the seat on order. When my dealer placed the order, there were 150 on back order. That should tell Kubota something about their seats.

I have a new MX6000 with R14 tires with the rears being loaded. My issue is the tractor vibrates on any hard surface like my driveway and does this in any range. They did widen the rear tires by making the adjustment on the rims. Is this common with the R14 tires?
