    B1750DT Gear type transmission problem

Thanks Wolfman. The shifter can be moved around the neutral position but won't go into any gear. I think that both rear wheels are immoveable but I'm going to check that again. It may be a couple of days before I can get back to work on it, but I'll let you know what I find, thanks again.

    B1750DT Gear type transmission problem

This tractor is old and well worn but it's all I have. It made some strange scraping noises and locked up. Won't shift from neutral to any gear, rear wheels are also locked up. None of the other control positions have any affect. If I release the clutch it stalls the engine. I'm a good mechanic...

Woods RCC42 Removing the Stump Jumper

I am going to turn the brush hog upside down so I can get to everything easier. I can see that I really will need to use a puller. I'm pretty sure that I can rig up something that will work. I apologize for my poor description of things.

Woods RCC42 Removing the Stump Jumper

I have the nut and washer removed from the shaft. The stump jumper was loose enough to spin by hand but I still can't get the retainer to slide off of the splined shaft and release it. Am I overlooking something? I'm afraid to use heat because it's so close to the gear box seal, I'm letting it...

Should I sharpen my brush hog blades?

Thanks to all of you. It's clear to me that you guys know a lot more than I do. "Based on your comments, I think that what I should do is to get a new set of blades to use for cutting mostly grass and really light stuff. I can then sharpen the old ones, not real sharp, just enough to reduce...

Should I sharpen my brush hog blades?

I have a Woods 42 inch brush hog That I use with my Kubota B1750. The blades are so worn down that the front edge and the back look nearly the same. The dealer said that I would do better to replace them than to sharpen them. He gets $115 for the pair. The mower was well used when I got it, so I...

    B1750 Clutch release bearing removal

Thanks jiggseob . Everything is stuck until I can't tell if parts are meant to slide off or am I breaking something? I will need to remove the bearing along with the bearing holder (part # 010) so I can press it off. Can the clutch rod (part #110) be driven out of the release fork (part # 100)...

    B1750 Clutch release bearing removal

I am replacing some clutch parts. The tractor is split and I'm trying to remove the release bearing. I can't get it to come off the end of the release bearing holder and I can't tell if it is just stuck with rust and dirt or is there still something attaching it to the holder that I am unable...
