    L1501 how to engage pto?

    This is my first time operating a tractor. As far as I can tell the pto has a 4 speed selector but I don’t see anything spinning no matter what I select. I’m hoping someone here can tell me what I’m doing wrong.

    Early 80s L1501 no fuel coming from the injector.

    First I cracked lines at injectors then saw the metal dust. Then I took the lines off at the pump. Been cranking a bit and getting nothing. Do I just have to wait? Keep cranking? Or should I take off the injector pump? I’ve been cranking for a while. Was getting little air bubbles and some...

    Just bought this L1501 and didn’t even think about asking for a key. Rookie move. Which wires do I have to touch to send power to plugs and starter?
