    B7100 HST Rear Tires

yeah, I don’t even think it was that. Unless it was done a really long time ago. No liquid was present in the wheel/tube. I think the tires just went flat for a really long time at some point and the wheels sat in water. Could have been calcium chloride, though. Thanks for all the advice...

    B7100 HST Rear Tires

These pictures make it look better than it is. On "wheel_2" there's a pretty significant high spot on the right portion of the wheel in the image.

    B7100 HST Rear Tires

So, appearently even though the stem was fat at the base it's actually tubed type and not tubeless. Got the tire/tube off and the rims have dirt/rust caked on, and the tubes (especailly the valve) look to be 1 psi short of blowing out. I already purchased tubeless tires, but I'm concerned if I...

B7100hst, replacement brake shoes too big?

Yeah, I'm going to try this since it's relatively cheap. If that doesn't work, I'll just use sandpaper and try to get it as good as I can.

B7100hst, replacement brake shoes too big?

Aaaah, thanks for that suggestion. The brakes probably would fit like that without the actuating parts on the cover panel, but once I put the springs on and attach the breaks to the plate, it no longer fits, but by a small margin. Hadn't thought of grinding down that point, but that makes sense...

How would you recommend surfacing the drums? I don’t have much in the way of equipment.

B7100hst, replacement brake shoes too big?

I think I've posted enough to add attachments? We'll see... Don't have great pictures of the whole thing. Took most of these 'cause I was trying to figure out what loader was on there and it's too dark to take a better one at the moment.

B7100hst, replacement brake shoes too big?

The two drums are slightly different sizes due to wear. On one, it juuuuust barely slides in and would definitely be rubbing. Probably would take care of itself pretty quickly, though. The other one does have a bit of crud built up on it that I could clean off (pads were rusted stuck in an...

B7100hst, replacement brake shoes too big?

Hello, I’m in the process of rebuilding the break system on my b7100hst. I ordered new shoes from Madison tractor. Double and triple checked the part number before I bought it cause it was so expensive. They just arrived and don’t fit in the drum. I’m wondering what my options are. I noticed...

    B7100 HST Rear Tires

Thanks. Thats super helpful. Is this information in the WSM? I guess I should actually read the whole thing instead if just piecemeal looking through it. I was under the impression that tubed is a little bit more resilient. But, the main reason was I was having difficulty finding an 8.3...

    B7100 HST Rear Tires

Awesome, thanks. It does look like there’s a fat rubber base on there so, I think it’s tubeless. Glad to know I’m overthinking the tire size, I’ll just go with 8-16 since that seems to be easier to find.

    B7100 HST Rear Tires

I just recently bought a B7100 HST tractor. Tires are very old and definitely need replaced. I know there are a lot of threads already that discuss tires for these older b7100 like tractors, but they always end up getting uber confusing because a bunch of people chime in with different...

    Help, b7100 brake probs

I know this is a super old thread, but this is the top thread when you Google search this issue and I found a much simpler solution to this problem that should be repeatable. I did the usual: penetrating oil. Did this for 2 days while I was banging away at the drums. I’m sure this did...
