Photo shoot anything lately? Random Photo Thread

Dogs and cats getting along......... Had the 2025r for over a decade. LX2610 for 6 months. 350+ hrs on the 2025r, 36hrs on the LX2610. Went Kubota because of the ssqa option, but the 2025r has been trouble free for over a decade. Just wanted a separate dedicated front mount snow...

Windshield washer fluid - where to buy?

Walmart. I ordered 40 1 gallon containers of -30f wwf and scheduled a pickup. They rolled a large cart out to my truck with all 40gal and I loaded them in the back. Quick and easy at about $3/gal in Alaska.

    Recommend wheel spacer brand

Just get the ones that meet your price and delivery expectations. Plenty of other things in life to actually worry about besides wheel spacers. That being said, no doubt somebody on here lost everything including their dog because they didn't buy one specific type of spacer.

    Loader question..LA534A vs. LA525

Although the l3301 and l3901 loaders have a smaller "max lift capacity" they do it at a greater height. I don't remember the specifics but it's something like 8"-10" higher. Meaning they lift slightly less 8"-10" higher and more than the la534 at the same height as the la534s max lift...

    yup, EVs are soooo great...

As the owner of an EV I can confidently say they aren't ready for primetime. Also, diesel emissions has wreaked havoc on fuel mileage advancements. My parents 1980 VW Rabbit diesel got almost 45mpg when they bought it new in 1979.....yet we're still having trouble surpassing that. Part of it...

Kubota K Connect Snowblower problems explained.

I just disconnected my snow blower (most likely for the season) I have not noticed any wear on the K - Connect Coupling. Tractor has 19hrs on it, 18 of those hours were moving snow with the snow blower or box blade. I frequently engaged/disengaged the pto for the blower. Although, I engaged...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I took the K-Connector and Snow Blower off and remounted the bucket. Then proceeded to load 2 of 10 trailer loads of snow to start clearing out my driveway. We will probably get a little more snow, but likely not enough to justify using the snow blower. The box blade and bucket should be able...

    yup, EVs are soooo great...

Audi E-Tron 2022 $0.22/KWh (electric company says $0.135/KWh but by the time all the fees are added........) 10Kw level 2 charger in our garage (95KWh battery, but audi only uses 87KWh for longevity) so functionally, about 9hrs to fully charge from zero, but typically we don't charge past %90...

    yup, EVs are soooo great...

As an EV owner in Alaska for a bit over 2yrs and almost 29,000 miles, I have several observations. 1st) it's my wife car and not mine but it's been trouble free the entire time. She drives about 13k miles per year, but over %90 of that is within 50miles of our house. 2nd) it's far cheaper so...

No one ever warned me about this side effect of buying a boat!

I got a 13ft lund skiff with a 15hp Evinrude outboard for my 12th birthday, commercial fished with my father on two of his boats until I was 17, then spent the last 37 years working on ships. 16yrs actually at sea..... I can confidently say that the best boat you'll ever have belongs to a...

Coast Guard Won’t Enforce Or Accept California’s Harbor Craft Rule

CARB might not apply, but they all have to switch from heavy oil to low sulfer about 12-24hrs prior to arriving in port and/or use stack scrubbers. As with almost all emissions systems, it significantly lowers efficiency.

    What's cookin' boys?

Crab feed, Alaska Style: Expecting 13, only had 10. 6lbs of King Crab left for next time. :D Had to move the traeger over to block the wind. Temps went from 30f down to 21f in about an hour after the sun set. Then winds shifted and I had to crank the burner to max and still could only get...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Warmed up to 26f with about 4” of snow overnight, so it was the perfect time to get the boss on the Kubota for some practice. After all, the whole point was so that she could keep the path open to our rental property when I’m away working. Went pretty well even though there was barely enough...
