    Chevron Delo 5W-40, $8.95

It also carries an API SN rating, so good for most gasoline engines needing this weight as well

    Chevron Delo 5W-40, $8.95

I've picked up 15 gallons from a total of 4 stores. In all cases, I ordered online and the price was 12.95. But in 3 of the 4 stores, I was given a receipt at 8.95. The other store receipt showed 12.95.

    Chevron Delo 5W-40, $8.95

Tried it from my phone, tried different browsers on the PC, tried plugging in YOUR STORE, and still get $12.95.

The pricing variation is curious. Geographic, I guess. Here's what I see:

Bx1800 will turnover won't fireup and run

I don't get it. BLACK smoke is produced when Diesel burns with inadequate air. So, it must be 'firing'. Are you sure you're not seeing white/grey 'smoke'?

    At What Point.

I'd say if your net worth totals something like 20-50x the value of the asset, it's probably not worth insuring it. In that case, having to incur the cost of replacing the asset is a pretty small blip... So, if you had a 500k home, and 10-25M on-hand you probably don't need insurance...

    Darn mice are gnawing again

Better check your cans of whipped cream. Around here, when the mice attack the pecan pie, they get into the whipped cream too...

    Power steering older kubota

I don't know if there's a simple answer. I do know that the 'tractordata' site is pretty good at listing Kubota's whole range, years of manufacture and specs. I suspect it has some inaccuracies, but from what I've seen, it's decently accurate...

    B7100 blow-by question

Dang. That sucks. I saw your earlier thread on this (otherwise fantastic) tractor. Seeing the oil on the gravel would convince me this needs to be addressed. With only 900 hours, seems like this thing suffered some trauma - maybe a serious overheat at some point? Ingested some...

Steel building : Magnets for TV antenna on roof...?

I'd think a set of three or four strong magnets would work, as long as they are set up to get a wide stance and the antenna is only a few feet above the roof. Lots of commercial installations on flat roofs use mounts weighted by a bunch of concrete blocks.

    Timberline Chain Sharpener

The timberline is an interesting design - I like that one setup lets you sharpen all the teeth, compared to my needing to flip the bar around to get the 'other' side. I also like that one tool accommodates different size chain teeth with just a different carbide cutter. That said... Me too...

    Adding dynamo and regulator

Diesel fuel shut off solenoids I've seen with a 'run' winding DO draw current in order to keep the engine running - Not as much current as the 'pull' winding, but still enough current to drain a battery after some number of hours...

Good golly miss molly..no up pressure on FEL

Again... If you're not aware - the 3PH control does affect the FEL hydraulics. When you use the FEL, the 3PH control needs to be in the central (neutral) position.

Good golly miss molly..no up pressure on FEL

First thing I'd do is make sure the 3-point hitch control lever is in the center (neutral) position...
