Finding a pto engagement electrical connector for mx5400hst

Success! Wired it up and pto is turning and the warning light is off. Thanks again to all the people who helped track this down, especially getting the specific Kubota part number so I could order it easily

    L4701 PTO issue

I ordered the hht1k-91103 I got the replacement number hht1k-91103 from daredevil1166. I ordered the part and got it today and it looks right except it has an extra wire which is fine I’ll replace it after the rain stops to confirm but should work.

Finding a pto engagement electrical connector for mx5400hst

I just picked it up today and it looks correct, except it has two wires instead of one but that’s not an issue. Once the rain stops I’ll wire it up and confirm. Cost $86 without tax since I’m exempt.

Finding a pto engagement electrical connector for mx5400hst

It’s a pigtail connector that plugs into the pto solenoid. It costs about $85, which is ridiculously high but no other option besides paying $1300 for a new harness or trying to repair the current one. I had done a temp repair already with tape and it worked for awhile but I do some aggressive...

Finding a pto engagement electrical connector for mx5400hst

Had my first failure on this…saw the picture at Kubota and ordered it online from Bahrns equipment and it was not right. Of course it was 100% my fault because I mistakenly ordered hht1A-91103 instead of hht1K-91103 I ordered the right part now and they allowed me to return the wrong ones, I...

Finding a pto engagement electrical connector for mx5400hst

We have two Kubota dealers near me, one tries to be helpful and one is useless. The useless one literally had me come around the counter and look for the part in the drawer myself because he said I knew more than him. The useful one could only sell me a $1300 harness…they did look at...

Finding a pto engagement electrical connector for mx5400hst

Wow, thanks for the great replies. I think I’ll take a picture of the terminal on the wire first so I have what I need to try and track one down on that site, and then glue it in there to try to make it work. I think the terminal is still on the wire if I find anything besides super gluing...

Finding a pto engagement electrical connector for mx5400hst

The plug that goes into the side of my transmission (I think) that sends the electrical signal for the pto to engage has had the wire come out. I pushed the pin back into the connector and plugged it in and it worked for awhile but then came out again. No luck with Kubota or Messicks on getting...

    L4701 PTO issue

I see this is old but I have the same problem on an mx5400. Wire got pulled out of the connector so pto won’t work. Tried putting wire in connector but it pulls out too easy so probably not making a good connection. any tricks to reseating these?
