    Funny! I like the waterproof and durable but I might trade a little for ease of replacement if given the choice. I'm hoping the LED bulbs can extend the range out another couple feet.

    I took your advice and ordered the bulbs. Since you advised they weren't very bright, I opted for the LEDs that are supposedly 3x brighter. We'll see. I noticed the keyhole flange around the bulb like the one in your picture. So I guess I should remove the whole assembly of both headlights...

    So you pry the aluminum? trim ring off from around the lens? Mine is so tight there is no room to get anything between the trim ring and the grill panel. I'll go look at it again. Thanks,

    I looked at the diagram and wondered if it was just a fuse but I checked them yesterday and they all looked good but I'll pick up some new ones just in case my old eyes got it wrong - again. They are all 10 amp so I'll give it a try. Thanks, I hope that's all it is.

No surprise that it had a mouse condo under the instrument panel so I pulled the 4 screws and pulled out the majority of it and then used compressed air to blow out the rest.
