    Grizzly vs Skeleton Bucket

Looking for some help with my decision paralysis. I attached a couple of photos of the type of soil I have.... a lot of melon sized rocks. Disregard the large boulders in the pic. I'm planning on doing some misc work on the property, and want soil and rocks separated so I don't have to buy...

    L47 TLB Lug Nut Size

Good catch @OntheRidge and @North Idaho Wolfman . Not sure how I missed that or why I'd post a pic of my front wheel when my issue was always the rear. lol

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Since I already had some damage from sticks poking through the factory front plastic grill, I installed this Lown Performance grill guard. Had to pack it with washers to get it sorta centered, as the guard is about an inch wider than the attachment points. Crooked enough to bug me, but good...

    L47 TLB Lug Nut Size

Also strange.... if you look at my original post, its of the back right wheel. Second pic is of my back left wheel. The studs are sticking out a bunch in one, and flush in the other. I didn't notice it when torquing. Seems weird to have 2 different stud lengths (or a 1/2" spacer on one...

    L47 TLB Lug Nut Size

This is from my manual. Looks like the plate spring only shows up on the M62s now. L47 made up for it with an oversized nut. The nut on their "A" graphic doesn't look to scale though. Interesting how they are tweaking things each year. Good to know as I never would have guessed that.

    L47 TLB Skid Plate Options

Finally got this plate installed. ~18 months later. Saved it for one of the coldest days to get across the finish line. Tractor feels invincible now. I feel like I can use high gear to blaze new trails. Just kidding. Not looking forward taking it back off 150 hours from now for next...

    L47 TLB Lug Nut Size

Just to close out this post, ended up needing a 35 mm socket for those lugs. Quite a bit bigger than we thought! 3/4" drives are in my future, and I also had to borrow a bigger torque wrench to get to that 192ft-lbs. Super uneventful checking the torque though for my 50 hour.

    L47 TLB Lug Nut Size

I won't be around my tractor for a few weeks, but when I get to it next I plan on checking the torque on the lugs for my 50 hr service. I know they are larger than 20 mm, the largest socket I had when I looked while doing the oil changes. I should have put a tape measure on it at the time, but...

    L47 TLB Skid Plate Options

Pic of the skid plate I had fabbed up and painted. Not nearly as fancy as Scissors. Just need the time to start drilling holes to match factory hole locations, then suck it up. I'm getting close to my 50 hr service, so waiting until after that. Background in photo gives an idea of my...

    L47 TLB Skid Plate Options

Thanks for the idea Smokey. This looks perfect to protect all the hydraulics at this location. My stock thin sheet metal has already been beat up bad in this area. Seems like I just need to bite the bullet and add a bunch of steel, as its not like I'm not going to go in the woods.

    L47 TLB Skid Plate Options

Thanks for the good suggestions Scissors. I like the idea of the large U bolt...I would flip it the other way/make red plate longer so you can easily get to the nuts for removal. BTW I didn't "already raise it" deliberately, that's in its current contorted/leaky state from this weekend's...

    L47 TLB Skid Plate Options

Hi. I'm new to the tractor world and just recently purchased an L47 TLB. It was equipped with the TL1310 hydraulic front quick disconnect feature, which turns out to be a huge mistake for my application of running the tractor in woods with boulders...essentially like a skidder. The...
