I found a relay on the fire wall that intermittently made a buzzing sound, similar to the sound you hear while welding, when I touched it. I don’t have experience with these but I feel that is not normaL Going to replace that and my stop solenoid to see if that takes care of my problem.

My stop solenoid burned up last fall when I was washing my tractor to store it for winter. I have not replaced the solenoid and have just been using the stop lever to shut off the tractor. Would not having a solenoid on the tractor cause a short and drain the battery? I’m thinking not but I...
