Thanks again for the help, and yes I'm referring to the hydraulic filter. The filter will rupture while just turning the starter with out engaging any controls. Does the valve shown just screw out of the valve body? Sorry for all the questions as I've not got a lot of experience with hydraulic...

I have a bx1800 with 300 hours was running fine. Next day when it was started up the hydraulic filter split. Put on new kabota filter added fluid to correct level, new filter swelled up and split immediately. My guess is a relief valve is stuck. But I'm not sure where it is located. Tractor...
