M7060 - 3-Point Hitch control lever at the rear of tractor.

On my M5640 I made a lever that clamps onto the 3ph control lever at the operator station and extends out the back so that I can raise and lower the 3ph from the back. The linkage is all mechanical, When I am standing on the ground where I can reach the OEM lever I can't see the 3ph over the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

It's been too hot in my book to do much in the woods but I did managed to clear couple blow downs from across wood trails this morning. A small job even for the L3010. I winched out a small fir in two pieces. Then I dragged them to a brush pile just down the trail and added them to it...

L3010 with LA482 loader, would like to put a 3rd function valve on, does anyone make just a simple mechanical valve?

The new 3rd function switches on the loader control handle for electric valves are great. I have one on the M5640. But if you look close you will see that I made the control lever for mechanical 3rd function valve on the old L3010 so that I can control the FEL and the grapple with one hand...

L3010 with LA482 loader, would like to put a 3rd function valve on, does anyone make just a simple mechanical valve?

I have the same tractor and loader. Back in 2011 I added a mechanical 3rd function valve for the bucket grapple I have on it. I posted the project on the another tractor forum back then. Here is a link to it...

    Pulling logs

To add to the above ^^^^ If you go with the cross-draw-bar you use a tractor hook with it also available at TSC. Or you can put it on your lower draw bar. gg

    Pulling logs

Like others have said - it is easier and safer if you can get the end of the log off the ground. Do you have an implement with a grab hook on it. Or you could bolt one on (Ken's Bolt on Hooks) maybe or weld one on. Like a box blade or rear blade. You could also get a cross-draw-bar at TSC and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Yes, I have light chains on the shaft covers. There is a hole in the hinged guard that is over the top of the pto output shaft area that the chain snaps into. gg

My TnT hoses were looped like yours. They were fine with the rear blade and landplane but when I put on the winch it would crush the loops when I lifted it if I didn't extend the TL first before lifting. After I forgot enough times I cracked a hose open by bending it to tight. After that I...

What I do is get a hard wood dowel about 3" long that fits loosely down into the female coupling on the loader hose. Grab the hose coupling with my left hand and smack the dowel with hammer to push down the poppet that the other end of the dowel is sitting on inside the connector. Oil will be...

I've had this load of wood on the trailer since mid April so it is past time to work it up so I can use the trailer for something else. I started on it the other day. Over the winter I made the left hand stakes so they would fold down and built the cutting table. This is the first time I...

I had a section of drive/road where I couldn't grade out the wheel ruts any more, So today I tail gate spread from the one-ton 4 loads, 12.6 ton, of 3/4" Stay-Mat over 350' of road. Then I shaped it with the back of my rear blade to make an even crown. Last I packed it with the...

It is really an easy process as others have said. Flat surface most important, First time is the scariest. Only trouble I have had was the first time removing when you curl the bucket to lift the loader arms out of pin sockets I did not curl enough to put the bottom of the bucket flat on the...
