    L3400 Rear PTO Shaft BROKE!

Anyone ever replace the rear PTO shaft on a L3400 gear drive? Broke off flush after lowering a 60" tiller with too long of a driveshaft. Looks like it might be as easy as removing the 4 bolts and pulling the whole thing out and replacing the shaft. Might have a pressed on bearing which won't be...

Millennial, Congrats on the B8200. Reminds me of when I got my B8200 and the PITA it was to get the sheave off from the 5' woods belly mower that was on it. Here is the link with pics from when I first got it, to how it looks today. http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9197

Dwarner, Picked up a oil pressure gauge today that shows 0-100 in 2psi increments. Got the old sender out and the new line and brass compression fitting plumed into the old sender location. Still need to hook up the gauge after I cut a hole in the dash. I'll post a pic after I get it done...

    B8200 stopped while running

Had a similar issue on my B8200 where I had a bad ground. I could put my test light on the battery neg. post and then put the probe anywhere on the frame and when I would turn the key to start/crank, the test light would come on. Fixed the chassis ground and all was good. Would still like to...

Oil Pressure Light Came On!!! pics

Took the L260 for its maiden voyage last weekend and after about a half hour or so when I was pulling it back into the garage the low oil pressure light came on. So I drained the oil then and there and tonight I opened up the side access panel and here is what I found. Mind you, this is after 2...

    Separate Glow Plug Switch

Does anyone see an issue with rewiring the glow plug circuit to it's own momentary switch so I can continue to glow the plugs while cranking on the starter? Only downside I can see is that I would loose some amperage to the starter. There are no timers on this old L260 so the rewire will be a...

    b8200 head issues

Yes, your dealer should be able to get parts for your B8200. Something else you could test is take out one of the injectors and then connect it back up outside of the head and then crank the engine over to see if the injector is spraying fuel. Your local dealer may or may not be able to test...

    b8200 head issues

A couple reasons that you wouldn't be getting smoke when you have fuel at the top of the injector is that the injectors are gummed up or there is no compression. Or the injection pump is not creating sufficient pressure to pop off the injectors.

    b8200 head issues

Sounds like it is still not getting fuel. On the right side of the engine just to the right of the air intake hose and just above the fuel shutoff lever there is a fuel priming air vent bleeder screw. Unscrew the 1/2" round knob and engage the decomp lever and crank the engine until fuel comes...

Check and make sure the decompression lever is not open/engaged. Are you getting any smoke coming out the exhaust pipe?
