    Loader Bucket cross-reference

If its the skid steer quick connect it should match right up, I upgraded my bucket on a different tractor and a guy bought it for a skid steer. Very handy quick disconnect set up on these tractors.

    Trailering the Tractor

As stated in my original post I have been towing with an F250, The tractor is cabbed and has the L854 loader and water in the rear tires, Adding the implement its a heavy load-Looks like the real problem is the 20 foot trailer-It barely fits so no moving to reduce tongue weight. I wanted to go...

    Trailering the Tractor

I am sure the F150 isn't rated for the tongue weight-Neither is the F250 Diesel I am towing it with now, Its rated for 1500. I do have a weight distribution hitch I use when I am towing longer distances. I would rather have a 150 because I am off road a lot and the 250 is so heavy it gets stuck...

    Trailering the Tractor

I had it on a 2008 F150 4x4 4 door, Tongue weight was the big thing at 1800 lbs, Front end was riding high.

    Trailering the Tractor

I currently tow with an F250 which does great, Started off with a 150 and it was a challenge. When I weighed the trailer tongue it was around 1800 lbs. Tractor is a L4240 with loader and always has an attachment behind it, Trailer is a 20 ft dual axle equipment trailer and it barely fits. I...

    Tractor Supply 4' Tiller

I have a tractor supply 6 footer that has been great for 10 years-Its actually a King Kutter with the yellow paint, The ones I saw at tractor supply this weekend had plastic end caps that said made in China. May look close at things that are in contact with moving dirt. With the soil you and I...

What battery to buy for L4610

I went with an Optima Red Top on my L4240, They are expensive but take all the vibrating very well. Its basically a group 24. Some parts stores offer discounts online and then pick up instore, Ebay may be worth a look too.

    3 point PTO Generators

This is what I want to do as well, I have a 12.5k Generac that runs the whole house but if it has a problem its a bear to diagnose, Going with a pto generator makes sense,I would run it 4 to 6 hours at a time to cool down the house and freezers then switch to a smaller portable to maintain...

Shear pin/bolt for PTO shaft - standard size?

You are on the right track, What I did was buy a box of 50 at Lowes, I hope more that I ever need but I do keep several on the tractor, And you can use the new bolt and a hammer to tap out the sheared one, Seems like I also went to grade 3 with no problem as I was shearing a bunch of 2s cutting...

    tractor seat sensor

Same problem for me too, It would shut off for no reason, Replaced the switch and was better for a couple of weeks. Didnt want to eliminate it so I added some 2 inch Velcro to the top of the switch-Was just enough thickness to do the trick.

    1990 L3300 repaint??

On my newer Kubota I repainted the hood and fenders with a PPG product called DelFleet Evolution, Its a single stage paint and only requires a tac coat and then a wet coat. Color code is ACE037 . Its real easy to spray-As long as you have a compressor and a paint gun.

Paint faded on l4060. Options or advice?

That's an awfully lot of fading for a new tractor, Check the date code on the tires , Tractor may be older than you may think. Mine faded after a few years, I repainted it with a single stage urethane and it looks great now.

    Headlight Bulb L4240

Got this figured out, Finally- A 9003 H4 bulb fits right in, It is higher wattage but should be fine, Installed and tested just haven't had time to run them for any length.

    pasture question

You will need to spray it first with a product like roundup and give it a few weeks to kill off the weeds,Then possibly landscape rake it to get some of the dead stuff out of the way,Next cut the dirt with a harrow.Should make a good seed bed,The weeds have to be killed.
