Thanks to all who helped me figure out what to do to get this tractor running again, I was able to get broken gear bits out and jb weld broken cracked case for now,I used it all day Sunday with no problems,it is only rear PTO not working but it doesn't look to hard to replace gears.White stuff...

Thanks for the morale support,this is exactly what I was thinking,it is good to have further validation.Your thoughts are much clearer than mine I didn't think about grinding down the gear a important step.thanks again.

The bolts came out fine, upper hole s look oblong from wide angle photo

I was only going to JB weld the area that cracked by the PTO cover right side., not the lower supports

All the bolts came out fine,it looks oblong because of wide angle photo.

From what I have heard it is a Kubota design flaw weak points in the casting,not ideal but enough support around it to keep using it doesn't seem to be getting worse.

I have only had this tractor for about a year,not sure of past history,I think it's about a 1992, maybe someone over used and stressed it,I have not even used the rear PTO for anything.maybe bearings and gears were not shimed right from factory or some one didn't put it together right........I...

I think it would be ok because all the brackage is in that contained area.

You can see all the teeth striped off the drive gear,and fluid leaked out,the B 1750 tractor has less than 1000 hours.

I was mowing with the belly mower, going along fine, heard a click ,click click etc.... thought it was a stick or branch caught in mower then it stopped suddenly.what do you think would cause this? This is a B1750 and was using the middle pto.I am thinking of cleaning out the broken pieces and...
