    Re: Final Act Got mine back together and running as well. didn't get a gauge on it, but the oil light goes out now just windmilling with the decompression active. seems to have an unnerving knock but I'm not all that used to diesel.. went thru the valves and such, so she's got that nice sewing...

    Re: countdown... Turned down and Tacked a 5/16 bolt head and shoulder in the cam.. it ain't pretty but it ought to slow the oil leak. Got the case all goobered up with RTV black and back on. though I had everything cleaned, but found oil oozing around the bottom of the case after I set it in...

    Re: Final stretch... So the uppity Kubota dude down town said "oh yea, you pull the cam, tap in 1/8 NPT plug, and weld it in.. tell you what, you ain't tapping nothing into that cam.. It's harder than my aunt Verna.
