    The nut cracker did the trick. Cracked the lock nut and the one below came off no problem. Repair complete! Thanks again for the help. Below are some before and after pics of my new toy, when I bought her two weeks ago and now after a light refurb. Richard

    I thought the hole was for a cotter pin but it doesn’t go all the way through. Looks more like a dot/mark maybe indicating where the nut should be. I alternated heat and penetrating fluid all afternoon and I can’t get it to move using all my strength. The wrench is starting to strip the nuts...
