    2021 B2601 w/ LA435 + BH70

I am selling my B2601. Tractor runs great, and is low hours, but recently moved to a larger piece of property and have an L-series on order. Here are the details: 2021 B2601 R14 tires LA435 loader and bucket Third function valve BH70 backhoe and bucket Fiberglass canopy 284 hours (this will...

MX 6000 or 5400 Backhoe Install

Hi Brandon. I have an L6060 on order with the BH92 as part of the package, but would also be interested in the mounting instructions simply because I like to know how things get assembled. Thanks!

Thinking about going from B2601 to L series

Great feedback. I can do basic welding (boxed in the rear of the frame on my old Tacoma last year and it’s holding up fine). Only bad thing is I don’t have a single 220 outlet available (until my new shop gets built) but it doesn’t sound like a grill guard would be uber-thick, so I’m sure a...

Thinking about going from B2601 to L series

I think the 60 inch wicked grapple will work for me. I know McMXi said he wished he got a 66” Wicked for his M6060, but would the 60” be too small for the L6060?

Thinking about going from B2601 to L series

Good to know. I think the grapple and BH are going to be the two implements that will get the most use from me.

Thinking about going from B2601 to L series

It was only about $4k difference between the two models. I think if they had a 4760 on the lot, I may have gone that route. They had two L6060s in the crate (funny how small they look sitting in the crate). The two have a similar size footprint, so I just opted for the 6060.

lol. Remember George Carlin? He said, “they call New Jersey the garden state. What do they grow there? Smokestacks?” :) I pulled the trigger today. Down at EaglePower on31. L6060 HSTC R14 Air ride seat 1055 loader HD bucket 72” 3rd function Block heater Rear wiper Rear worklights 1 rear...

Thinking about going from B2601 to L series

lol. Well, this salesman only gave me one quote (for the L6060) so I don’t feel bad asking him how much less is the 4760 cab would be. The other quotes I got for the MX and 4060 were from a different dealer.

Thinking about going from B2601 to L series

lol. I don’t have it yet, and I know that hyd thumb is an additional $4k, so I have that marked as a ‘nice to have’ but that may have to come later. Same goes for brush hog. I figured I’d ask for the quote on everything and then peel things off it exceeds the budget.

Thinking about going from B2601 to L series

So I reached out to my salesperson (on Highway 31) and asked for a quote on the L4760 cab with the 1055 loader, BH92, hyd thumb, air ride, grapple, pallet forks, and brush hog. I thought by dropping back to the 4760, I could get this closer to my projected budget, but am not sure they can get me...

    Dry well (I think) help

The cornfield is mine, but the corn isn’t. Local farmer farms it.

    Dry well (I think) help

Will daylighting it into the cornfield be bad for the corn stalks in the immediate area? Will it be too much water for them? Sorry if that’s a dumb question

    Dry well (I think) help

Thanks everyone. I do have a pretty big roof, hence the tremendous volume. The nearest swale is about 100 yds downhill (big tree at bottom of cornfield on right). I guess I could trench it to there. There is also a small parking area (not in photo) about 20 yards to the left.

Thinking about going from B2601 to L series

Thanks. One thought might be that if they are going to offer me less than the $13k it costs for the BH92 on my B2601 (which has a BH) that I consider keeping that ? Unfortunately, until my shop gets built, and then my equipment shed (in that order) I really don’t have a place to store two...
