What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

That's the same way I do it.

Same tire pressure regardless of the fact they are loaded or not.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Dropped the quick attach bucket and drove the tractor over to a neighbor that sells tractor attachments and picked up some new made in the USA 48" pallet forks with 2700lbs lifting capacity for $599. They seem decent enough for loading logs onto the trailer for the most part. Just need the...

    2017 / L3901 Clutch?

According to the manual, the clutch should be adjusted at 50 hours and then every 100 hours after that. If it was never adjusted, that was the problem.

    Trading in for a l2502

R1's have way more bite than R4's. I don't have a need for chains either. R1's are not nice to lawns though.

    l2501 Box Blade Poll

Good point about the clips, however the correct tool always in the tool- box makes it a non- issue in my case. It would be a pain if it was more rippers to deal with.

Just to add the BB66" weight is #370.

    l2501 Box Blade Poll

My dealer set me up with the land pride BB66" . It covers my R1 tracks and is no problem at all. I think it is the perfect size for my set up. With loaded tires it is also, the perfect ballast for the max lift abilities of the 2501.

I hope you are right about this being the last snow removal Ken, but Spring like weather sure isn't what we have had lately. The last snow hasn't even melted off the hanging trees yet. I enjoyed the 45 minutes on the tractor cleaning up the snow though.

    Who is Ken’s Bolt-On Hooks, BoltOnHooks LLC / KBOH-USA™, and boltonhooks.com?

Excellent product Ken. I have a set of your bolt on hooks on the L2501 standard bucket. These hooks have been used pulling T posts with a chain, as well as skidding logs out of the woods. Well worth the money.

How much fluid did you top it off with? I needed to add 44oz to bring the bubble into focus. I was careful not to lose more fluid than necessary and was surprised I needed to add that much. The filters absorb some too.

    What is this all about?

I don't know how many folks simply hit confirm like I did? Guess they got me. Must be old age.

In regard to the walkabout you refer to. I have a problem with that issue when running the tiller. Would the solution be to add another nut to keep it from creeping? I've been thinking about that before tilling season.

I really enjoy this forum the way it is. If it isn't broke, why fix it?

Don't forget the number one rule! NEVER borrow your tractor to a neighbor.

Is getting a tiller worth it?

I also think a tiller is worth the money. I run a 58" land pride tiller with the L2501. Going slow is the key to success. Start shallow with the sod and increase depth one notch at a time. The only pain is run- in the clutch every spring before use. Not a huge deal, just prep time.

    Husqvarna 550xp mark 2 or Stihl ms261

I think you made a great choice. I always wondered at what point one needs a pro saw. I have a ms271 wood boss that I bought in October 2012. That is what the ms271 was called back then. My only heat source is wood and I cut and split 25 face cords every year with that saw. I have had 0...

Kudos for you helping out the neighbor and his flock! I've been raising chickens since 1973 and provide them with great housing, feed, treats, and attention. It really does make a difference in the flock's health. I enjoy hearing stories where the birds are given the respect they deserve.
