    G1800 with D662-E Engine possibly locked up.

    Just had this on a cat engine in a peterbilt. Solenoid shorted, starter engaged while driving. Smelled smoke, pulled over and flipped the hood. By then flames were rolling up the side of the block. Burned entire ecm wiring harness up. Not a good day.

    On the manifold. Lay a straight edge along it. Should probably be planed but you can try permatex copper.

    Doesn't sound bad. Exhaust manifold probably warped. How about an air filter. God only knows what you're sucking in.
