    A new ride

Congrats on your new ride! It looks very nice and it seems that you did your homework before you took the plunge. I bought a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV SEL and I am very pleased with it. The electric range (38 miles max) is enough for the local trips and the level 1 (120 volts) charging is...

    Daily Chuckle

Speaking of step ladders. My sister's step ladder decided to "step away" after I clamped a heavy perforated angle on top for cutting a piece to reinforce the garage door. It had two legs on the leveled garage floor and the other two on the very steep driveway .... and it took off!

David Copperfield, please meet Sherlock Holmes……………….

Good Job! This reminds me of when my Mini broke its differential. It was probably because I have the high output engine (65HP :ROFLMAO:) or because the spider gear pin "was made out of chocolate" like some people say of that vintage Mini. I had to get a rebuilt gearbox from the UK from the top...

I have 1/2 bath in the garage (which is all attached to the house). I told my 8 year old granddaughter that it was my "outhouse" and that blew her mind and she found it so funny.

    BX25 new leak

I would remove the vent/oil level plugs on top of the wheel gear boxes and check that there is oil up there. When servicing the axle, the plugs have to be out or otherwise there will be trapped air in the gear boxes that can expand. My tractor came with a very low level of oil in the front axle...

Bill of Sale 1969 Ford 3000

When we started taking apart my friend's 69 Camaro to restore years ago, we found a previous owner's registration behind the back seat. The car used to belong to Charles Bronson.:rolleyes:

I went to Walmart yesterday after lunch. It was unusually quiet since there were very few people. No lines at the cashiers and the prices were outstanding!

My dad was wondering what caused the three rings on the vinyl front seat of his 59 Ford Custom and I had no clue. On a different note, during the early days of the Space Shuttle and people still smoked a lot, there were 120 volt AC lighters like that attached to the walls and plugged into...

    Plastic rivet pins for BX2380

When I pulled mine out, they all survived. That sounded weird. I found that my floor had some corrosion. When I removed the floor mat, non of the plastic rivets broke. However the floor was really badly corroded since the paint was bubbling and peeling. Fortunately, the floor was replaced...

    New Phones with AI

Well I got me a new cell phone, a Google Pixel 9A. I really didn't care for the AI features. My old phone have not had any security updates in years and I figure that I need a replacement before prices go up and I got a decent deal on this one. After a few days using and exploring the phone I...

    Mower maintenance

I change mine every 50 hours. I have been using a syringe with an attached clear plastic tubing that I can snake through to the bottom seal with the deck horizontal. I was surprised the first time that what I sucked from the bottom around the seal was nasty black. In subsequent oil changes, all...
