Thank you for verifying that. After taking the injector pump out a couple days ago I was thinking "C" "might" be something like that. Please however maybe tell me how "smoke" plays into this. Too much fuel and it won't burn everything? I haven't touched that screw so maybe it's adjusted right.

#5 is what I had put in 180 degrees. Very similar to the Zexel pump I have.

Maybe I said it wrong. Both the shut off solenoid deactivated with the switch and the shut off lever on the pump had no effect. I had to shut off the fuel at the tank. Pin 31. I don't even recall those but it's been several months. Not even sure some of the parts in the diagram are like...

Could excess oil in the cylinders from the overhaul but causing trouble? Lots of white smoke on initial start. And excessive rpm and no shut off.
