    My snow removal/traction dilemma

There’s 2 or 3 heat settings on the tool I have. I haven’t looked at it in awhile.

    My snow removal/traction dilemma

Sorry, a bit late but here’s a pic of the tip we used. I didn’t use enough heat and broke a couple I think @McMXi dialed the heat up and had no problems.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cleaned up driveways Friday twice as we got almost a foot of snow, added to earlier in the week. When I first started plowing in December the ground wasn’t frozen so I barely pushed off of drives and now we’ve been inundated with snow in February it will be close to running out of room in a few...

    GrandL4060 won't start

Sure sounds like gelling but could it be an algae problem? I'm not verse enough but I treat every container with something depending on warm or cold weather.

    Tire choice for snow removal

Agree with @OntheRidge however, I did groove my R4's along with several others on this site and it did help.

    Does tire grooving really work?

The only advantage I have heard of R4 over R14 is wear and sidewall strength. I haven't confirmed this but I have spent considerable time on construction sites and have yet to suffer a flat (probably just jinxed myself). When I got my tractor in early summer 2020 the dealer told me they didn't...

Hydraulic drifting after sitting - normal?

Drift drove me crazy so I chain the BH stabilizers together and the BH bucket up.

    My snow removal/traction dilemma

I have one like that and after sliding backwards into the road this is what works. Only plow down. Back up driveway only if it still has snow on it. Otherwise, back up in the yard adjacent to driveway. I was able to plow going up a few times but decided it wasn’t worth the pucker factor so now I...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Grooving your R4’s will help with traction in the snow, nothing like good chains though. And, during the warm months you’ll be tracking dirt into the garage. Oh and, this can be a controversial subject. 🤔 If you want to go this route PM me and I’ll ship you my groover to borrow, just replace...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finished leaves and flipped pusher edge (rubber). Thought I’d clean and wax while I had easy access. Oh, moved the golf cart into storage - you gotta love a FEL 😊

Are Kioti tractors really a better value on paper compared to Kubota?

As far as lift range on the FEL the Kioti looks like the pins are closer to the machine. Seems like Kubota is about the only one that pushes them out farther maybe giving you better stability at high heights?

Replacing hydraulic hoses on BT601 Backhoe

There’s several very knowledgeable members here that professionally worked on Kubotas. Maybe @TheOldHokie will chime in and others. I have the BH92 but like you, I’d be lost trying to take hoses off.Good luck.

Titan dump 30 cu ft box aint bad

Yes, you have to definitely keep a close eye and no tight turns. I wonder if there’s a drawbar extension out there? Something that would pin to two holes. I guess I could just buy another drawbar and pin it to the one that’s attached to trailer?

Titan dump 30 cu ft box aint bad

This 2 axle 5x10 works great. This is a pic from a couple years ago, I now take off ballast and use the drawbar. Using 3PH with dump trailer can get sketchy if you don’t chain down the lift arms, @mxmci taught me that 👍

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I’ve got to get my fiberglass truck cap off, it’s a short bed. I wonder if anyone has tried that with forks?
