Does anyone have the size of tubing on the ROPS for a 4701? I need u bolts to mount a box on the ROPS and am not sure of the dimensions. I think I remember it taped at 2.25x4. Yes, the pad with my notes are up at the hunting camp! Thanks for the help!

I would guess the weight of logging chain would be enough to hold it down

New 4701 DT, very similar sound/feel. Just did 50 hour, replaced hydrofilter and replaced lost oil. Will follow this thread.

Glad you seem have narrowed it down. My 4701 with with less than 10 hours started doing very similar. Shut it down and opened up the hood and started going through all of the things I thought could make the noise. Found that the fan belt was not in its groove....
