B20 Transmission stuck in low range

I sent them again. One I have the old nut in my hand and others with it sitting on the shaft. It is pretty scarred up where a wrench normally goes. Thanks, Dallas

B20 Transmission stuck in low range

Thank you I hope you got the photos OK. I ordered some 263 loctite and will do like you said about applying it and then wait 24 hours before reassemby. I don't think we #1 didn't clean it well enough and then didn't wait for it to set up. Thanks again for all your help.Dallas

B20 Transmission stuck in low range

The locktite was red like chapstick. Never used that kind before. Looked at the threads on the shaft and no sign of locktite, like it all washed away. I'll research locktite further. Thanks for the suggestions, Dallas

    B20 Transmission Nut

I have a B20 that the nut on the fourth shaft backed off and it was stuck in low range. We split the transmission and fixed that but it did it again within a few minutes of running. Does this nut need to be peened in place? Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
