    Roundup active ingredient change

That doesnt make a lot of sense from an agricultural veiwpoint. The whole thing about using glyphosphates was that they had bred genes into crop plants to be resistant to the glyphosphate. I havnt heard that they have bred other resistances into those crops as well. But theres a lot I dont hear...

    Small engine trouble

Jason, fuel atomizes better when an engine is warmed up. Those ports I was referring to feed gas into the venturi when coming off idle and when your throttle plate is fully opened up they dont feed as much as when its barely open. If those are plugged up it could very well be not getting enough...

    Small engine trouble

How good are you at cleaning carburetors? Not a snide remark, but Ive seen lots of DIY,ers that don’t really know what to look for. You very well be proficient but most aren’t. Did you remove the welch plugs so you could verify all the passages are clear? The tiny ports that feed fuel into the...

    New grease gun recommendations please.

I think most guns are fine. I use some old Alemites and a newer Mcnaught. Whats more important is to use a good tip. I like the Mcnaught tip much better than the older tips.

How many customers does the treadle pedal cost Kubota?

I sure agree about the brakes on the right. Somebody with two right legs must have engineered that one. There’s only one way those brakes work, thats if you have your tractor on cruise control, which doesnt work for any sort of yard or loader work. Maybe for mowing a big field?

    Coon Problem

When I use a live trap for coons I wire a small 2x2 or so piece of cardboard with a gob of peanut butter about 10” high on the back ‘wall’ of the trap. Thats right near the top. Then they have to step on the pan to get at it.

    FEL losing hydraulics somewhere

Most often its a valve leaking internally. If your tractor has a joystick, check that out.

Would you buy the same tractor again or a different one?

C’mon over. I have a 78 F-150 in nice shape. Its probably a little dusty, been parked in the shed for about 4-5 years.

What Size Bolt/Nut Is It? This Should Help.

How accurate is it all? I know that I often substitute a 14mm wrench for a 9/16 and an 11mm for a 7/16” and a 10mm does not work well in lieu of a 3/8. Those are just 3 ‘mistakes’ I notice.
