I have the same issues as the OP. Using brave browser on an I phone. Its been like this for at least 3 months. It doesnt do this with any other sites or forums I visit, so pretty sure its not on my end.

If you are taking it to an auction its value is the high bid on that particular day. If selling by an ad somewhere start high maybe $2-3000 obo and be prepared to come down a lot. For the tirekicker misery involved, Id take it to an auction. But maybe you enjoy that? Some do.

Next time your gauges peg, get off and unhook the wires from the temp sender and the fuel sender. Dont let them touch ground. What do your gauges say? Then take an ohmeter from ground to the point on the sensors that the wires hook on. What does your ohmeter read?

I think theres a lot of value in that tractor even with a bad engine. I know you’re not a salvage yard, but Id bet a salvage yard could get much more than $5000 worth of parts sold off it. 15 hours, most everything should be like new.

If you take that cover off the top of the jack you will see that you can remove the handle by driving out a roll pin. You can buy replacement handles. Or cut the handle off by the mushroomed end, Thread the shaft, then fashion one out of pipe to put on and hold it with a lock nut.

Does the pto only stop with the clutch in, but starts up again when you let the clutch out? Thats normal for a tractor without live pto. Look for a pto engagement lever. Theres got to be one on your tractor.

Maybe pull the glow plugs or injectors out just in case theres oil in the upper cylinders.

Why not simply wait till after dark, take a garbage or appropriate sized bag, put it over the nest, twist it off and carry it away? Smash or burn it while in the bag. Thats how I get rid of them.
