Why run high rpm's with a diesel ?

Agreed, thats typically what I've always heard and done. And have been doing so far. I'll run anywhere from 2000-2800 changing it every so often while doing FEL work and moving etc. Thankfully the first 20+ hours were FEL work so it was under 2800rpm and I was able to keep changing it. Just...

Why run high rpm's with a diesel ?

I've been wondering the same thing with my BX2380. I have the 60mmm and use it for loader work and cutting my lawn. As in the manual, below 50hrs don't run at max RPM... The only problem is 540pto on mine is max RPM (3500rpm). I've been running mine at 3Krpm while mowing. But just yesterday...

Long Range Shooting (Over 200yards) In Kutztown PA Area?

Thanks for the offer guys! I could shoot a little bit in my back yard but that would limit me to around 200yards anyway. There is a tree line, then it's someone elses property. I do live in farm country so I could ask around since I know a lot of the farmers are hunters. But i'm going to...

Thanks!! I'll take a look and see what I can find out. I don't mind driving a bit if I would need to since it's not an every weekend thing.

Long Range Shooting (Over 200yards) In Kutztown PA Area?

Hey Everyone, I've been looking to get into some longer range shooting for a while. However it looks like most ranges around me a 100yard, maybe one was 200yard. Does anyone know of a place thats further then 200yards for rifle in the area? It looks like there is a 1000yard benchrest club up...

    PTO Wood Splitter Questions

Any reason to not just run one with a power beyond kit (Backhoe hydro)? Or if you want to mount something to the loader the 3rd function would work as well...? I ran the Tractor supply 3pt splitter with my B3030 for a long time and loved it. Something like this from HD...

First Run With My BX2380+SSQA 60" E-Bay Plow

Yup I think the one from Heavy hitch only goes up to 54" width for the receiver mounted version. I know the place I purchaed mine from has a 72" and i think even a 90" version with different loader style mounts. One thing though is to find one that has the trip springs. I know from using a...

More Snow in the Northeast = More Seat Time with the BX2822 Blower

Yeah man it was definitly a let down. But I guess it's still early in winter! I ended up doing a loader mount SSQA plow. I just made a post about it if you want to checkit out. Glad you had some time to play as well! SSQA Loader Plow First Impression

First Run With My BX2380+SSQA 60" E-Bay Plow

Hey Everyone we finally had enough snow here so I could play a little with the new plow setup. This is an "off brand" manual angle loader mounted 60" plow. They do have the option for Hydro angle, or just add a standard cylinder. Short video below since I was playing a bit trying to learn...

More Snow in the Northeast = More Seat Time with the BX2822 Blower

Ended up with about 2" of slush here in the Kutztown PA area. Originally 3-6" then got downgraded right at the start. Had a bunch of sleet mixed in which killed the totals. Still had a chance to try out the new plow at least!

    Bx tires on ice

Are you not happy with chains in general or is it installing etc? I know I'm not a fan since they seem to destroy everything on the pavement. But I've been looking into a set like this that might be a bit better to install as well as not hurt anything. (Note this might not be the right size...

RB0560 or Countyline 5 ft blade for BX2380

Ran the 6' county line version on my B3030 for years and never had issues. Heavy wet snow etc. it always did good. Blade was straight and the paint held up pretty well. For something like that I can't see spending big $$ on a blade. If you hit something hard enough to bend/break it I doubt...

    HST Whine.....Gone.......!

I would use something like this. https://www.mcmaster.com/screens Maybe Brass or Aluminum. One that would be easy to form and just overside it. Press it into the bar and it shoudl be good to go. you can even fold the edges over to add a little more support. Plus it'll still breath and easy...

Bimek 84" 3pt finishing PTO mower?

Got tired of the original ones breaking. They would actually snap off where the main pin mounts to the castor wheel (although I do have them yet and they'll go with the mower). Mig welded, Arc weled, and even Tig welded them back on a few times. We use it to mow an old field so unfortunatly...

Bimek 84" 3pt finishing PTO mower?

I did find a place that looks like they sell parts from at least. https://www.tractors-equipment.com/Parts.html It looks like there is some random info here or there. But I can see i'll need to do some more research. I'm guessing that the company got purchased and are under another name at...

Bimek 84" 3pt finishing PTO mower?

Re: Bimex 84" 3pt finishing PTO mower? Welp, I feel like an idiot. I took a closer look at the name and it's actually a Bimek mower... Not Bimex... Looks like I have some searching to do with the correct name instead!:o Mods can lock/close the thread if they would like. Unfortuantly I...

    HST Whine.....Gone.......!

Kinda got me thinking of something like this. Although with it not being "secured" to the inside I'm not sure if it would act the same way. https://www.amazon.com/Craft-Foam-Beads-Slime-over/dp/B06ZZGT85J
