Just checked the National Weather Service site and here is the current forecast for us Christmas Day Partly sunny, with a high near 73. It would be a new record high for Christmas Day here.

Worked on cleaning up the trees we had brought down last weekend. The one in the picture measured 31 inches across. Ended up having to cut it and a few other logs we had left into smaller sections to move them around with the grapple. I also had a supervisor watching me while I was working.

We go from having the most snow we have seen in a while, temps below zero, to crazy winds, to the forecast now is showing us warming up over the next week with a potential record high of 72 degrees for Christmas Day. Well on the positive note, maybe I will get some mowing done over my Christmas...

Yep, parts are still green. It was 3 degrees when we woke up and currently 6 degrees with a cold advisory from the NWS. I think the reason we are still green, we got three early snows so we have been all snow covered. Then we had a couple of days off warmer temps, then the bottom dropped out...

We had two trees taken down. We paid to have a tree service do them and then I cleaned it up. Saved a good chunk of money by doing the clean up myself.

We have had more snow than we have seen in the last few years. Now we are expecting negative temps this weekend. Then the weather guessers are saying we will swing to above normal temps and could be close to 60 on Christmas day. So I guess no white Christmas for us.
