    That makes perfect sense. I ended up machining an oillite bushing on my lathe and pressing it into the flywheel. Put it all back together and its working perfectly. I would imagine if the F2400 can put a pilot bushing in the flywheel I could do the same. Thanks for letting me know about...

    Based on this picture of a F2400 mower it appears as though there is supposed to be a pilot bushing pressed into the flywheel. That would make sense to me based at the parts I pulled off of mine. I assume I had a bushing in there at one point and it fell out, hence the pieces I found behind...

    Here is a picture of the shaft going through the flywheel as far as it can go, notice the tip does not come out of the backside where it would ride on the pilot bushing. The second picture is of the propeller shaft.

    I am replacing a clutch on my f2000 and I am confused. When I put the input shaft up to the flywheel it is not even close to reaching the pilot bushing in the end of the crank. Is something wrong here or is the pilot bushing in the end of the crank just not used? Is it possible that there...
