    Add turbo

Still only hitting about 5psi. No vacuum so that's good. Runs 2 to 3 psi of boost when mowing. I cut open the oils filter that's been on there most of the time that the turbo has been on there. No metal that I could see, just some sludge and a nice dirty wix filter. Replaced it with a fram...

    Not cutting as expected

For tall stuff using a mower you're going to have to go over it 2 or even 3 times or use a brush shredder.

    Add turbo

Just a gauge from my gauge collection, a little 1 inch gauge with a 270 degree sweep with a 0 to 30psi span. I'll try another gauge, maybe my carburetor diagantic compound gauge, its got a 3 inch face and reads vacuum to 15psi maybe I'll get a little bit better resolution with that one.

    Add turbo

It looks like I never updated after I installed the boost gauge. I'm normally only making 5psi of boost. When I'm on the boost there's no smoke.

Voltage regulator rectifier for LiFePO4 battery

I tried that it doesn't work. At low load the forward voltage drop can be 0.1 volt or less.

    Cleaning battery terminals

Sounds like the battery is leaking acid around the posts.

    Propane cost

Don't rent a tank. There's agricultural auctions here a few times a year and there's always a few 500 gallon tanks for sale. They usually go for $100 to $300. I have two 500gallon tanks because I was the only bidder. Probably have the same thing around where you are.

Honda gx390 engine ticks, burns oil, 72psi compression.

Getting 120psi of cold, never fired compression at 4,000ft pulling on the string. It will be higher after the rings seat and hot, ect. I'm thinking this Honda knockoff "f188" piston gives a little bump in compression. Perfect stock compression 8.2:1 at 4,000ft elevation compression would be...

If glow plugs gives fluctuating reading they are likely fine and there is corrosion.

    3 point chipper?

Vibration and shock, cheaper ones appear to be direct drive. Plus for me I would rather have one that is easy to move around, is its own trailer ect. Forget cog belts, when it breaks you're out $100 and how ever long it takes to get a replacement. Use V-belts. Also the high dust environment...

    3 point chipper?

20hp should be plenty. I use a predator 459cc powered wood chipper for small stuff. I cut fire wood so anything bigger than 1 to 2 inches is firewood depending on how twiggy it is. I don't find it lacking power chipping dried elm up to 2 inches. I'm running the single cutter head 87% of crank...

    glow plugs

Don't buy cheap glow plugs. Always buy upgrade plugs if available. How do you know they are bad? They're very easy to test.

    Engine Trouble

Seen lots and lots of fuel filters put on dry. Double o-rings on the fuel filter will cause all kinds of hell.

    Engine Trouble

Some times it's a cracked fitting or hose that's worn, cut or dry rotted. Some times the hose is perfectly fine, just loose or no hose clamp. I have also seen lines that swell shut with no outside indication there's anything wrong. Been doing this for a long time.

    Engine Trouble

If it's a diesel it sounds like the fuel system is sucking air. I had my far inferior counterparts about to replace the injector pump and injectors on an engine that only had a bad fuel filter o-ring. Some mechanics shouldn't be mechanics.

    Attempting to maintain a field

Sounds like one of my pesky weeds I routinely have.

    Attempting to maintain a field

6 years ago I started mowing mostly just the weeds in my field. Seems to be working. I try to spare the flowers and the nice looking grass so it can seed out.
